While I explain the information about PuntiKayu Natural Tourism Park palembang city, I will give a place where the photo spot is suitable for those of you who are confused about where to take a good photo.

This is an example of a photo I took. I took this photo in a place like a tree house. It's great isn't it... You guys have to give it a try. You can find the tree house near the mosque. I really like this photo😊😊😊

I will probably explain the information a little but it is very important. Because I know you must be more interested in the photo spot than the information😁😁😁

Punti Kayu Natural Park is the only forest in Palembang located in the middle of the city. The exact location is in the area of km 7 Palembang. This tourist forest gets the title as a pine forest in the largest city in Indonesia.

Punti Kayu Forest is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. As previously revealed, the main tree plant in punti kayu forest is pine. In addition to pine, the flora in this forest includes Talog, Pulai, Acacia, and Mahogany.

Meanwhile, the fauna that inhabits this forest consists of squirrels, monitor lizards, ferrets, long-tailed apes, beruk, etc. This forest is also a place to live rare types of insects that do not yet have a scientific name.

Not only that, there is a lake where we can rent an animal-shaped water motor and a dragon boat at a price of Rp 10,000 per person with 10 minutes. And there is a bridge that you can make a photo spot there. Many recreational rides provided by Punti Kayu Tourist Forest. Such as Bird Park, Indian Village, and Duck Boat Lake. Here there are also Flying Fox rides and Paint Ball.

Punti Kayu Natural Tourism Park has been added various facilities that support the comfort of tourists. Many wooden chairs are available for tourists. Every corner has been built into an area to make tourists feel at home on vacation here.

Toilets, mosques, and parking areas are spacious in this Forest Service-run park. Dining with food and beverage dishes is also available in the area. On weekends it is often enlivened with entertainment from local and out of town artists.

In the trees, tourists are able to see the agility of long tailed apes wandering around. The funny behavior of this wildlife is quite a fun entertainment for tourists. These five groups of long-tailed ape animals dominate the animal type here. In the photo you can also make a photo spot by using your creativity.

Near the seat in the photo above, there is a photo spot as I said earlier you can use the wood on the ground. Of course, you have to use your creativity when taking photos.

This natural tourism area has four members of the territory. Namely camp areas, protected forests, lakes and swamps, and also recreational locations.

The recreation area is a child-friendly area that is suitable for tourists, especially with family. This Green Open Space presents natural beauty and calm conditions.

This natural tourist park has added interesting spots in its area. There is some duplication of the wonders of the world built here.

There are replicas of the Statue of Liberty, the Sidney Opera House, the Pyramids, the Dutch Windmill and the Eiffel Tower. There are countless miniatures of Big Ben London, Red Telephone Box, Borobudur temple, and also Punka Beach. These unique spots are a favorite of tourists to take selfies and take pictures with family.

You can take many photos in each replica replica of the wonders of the world.

That's a little bit of information and some photo spots. Hopefully with this, I can give you the inspiration to take photos that you might want to upload on your instagram account. That's all from me happy to enjoy your day. If you have any criticisms and suggestions, you can say it in the comments section below. Thank you and Peace ✌✌✌

Step Into The Past : Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang

Yelloooo... The people in the world!!! Welcome back again to my blog channel...

How are you all??? I hope you are all well during this pandemic. After 1 week ago we discussed about Monpera Palembang, now we move on which is not far from Monpera Palembang. None other than the Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Yes... Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. Just like before, this time I will explain some information about Kuto Besak Fort using the 5W+1H method. I hope that with this method, all of you can more easily understand the information I convey regarding the discussion that I will bring now. And right away without wasting time, let's go straight to the point in this discussion. lesssgooo....πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘Š

1. What is Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang?

Before we dive into the discussion of the beauty of the Benteng Kuto Besak in Palembang, it is better if we first understand the brief history of the Benteng Kuto Besak. The initial idea for the construction of Benteng Kuto Besak actually existed since the time of Sultan Mahmud Badarudin I. However, the construction could only be realized in 1780 during the reign of Sultan Mahmud Muhammad Bahaudin.

Before the establishment of Benteng Kuto Besak, the area was originally a palace area which became the center of the Palembang Sultanate, in the XVIII century.

Furthermore, after Benteng Kuto Besak was established, the fort (Benteng) had a function other than as a defense from invaders' attacks, on the other hand as a residence for the Sultan and his family.

Benteng Kuto Besak was officially used on February 21, 1792. Currently, Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang, or also known as BKB is occupied by the Sriwijaya Military Regional Command.

2. Where is Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang located?

Benteng Kuto Besak is located not far from the Palembang Ampera Bridge, and faces the Musi River in Palembang.

The address for the Benteng Kuto Besak is on Sultan Mahmud Badarudin Street, 19 Ilir, Bukit Kecil District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province.

The very strategic location of Kuto Besak Fort has made it one of the favorite tours for the people of Palembang in particular. Despite the fact that many also come from outside Palembang.

3. When is the greatest time to visit it?

In my opinion, the best time to visit Benteng Kuto Besak is at night. Because of what? Because at night there is a night market that is always in the field in the photo above. However, the question is whether in the morning or afternoon is not recommended?. The answer is no. At that time we can enjoy the view and relax in the seats that have been provided for us or maybe your family who wants to visit.

Besides at night, Kuto Besak Fort is not as busy as at night. Because there's not much we can do in the morning.

4. Why we have to visit Benteng Kuto Besak?

The many kinds of tours that exist in the Benteng Kuto Besak area, make it a tourist destination that presents a different sensation in terms of the time of visit.

And here are the tourist activities that can be done at Benteng Kuto Besak:

1. Forts (Benteng), and Historic Objects

The first attraction, of course, is the existence of a historic fort, a fort that was not built by the Dutch. Because most of the forts in Indonesia were built by the Dutch.

Inside the Benteng Kuto Besak area, there is a museum, as well as other historical objects, such as cannons, and other historical buildings.

2. View Ampera Bridge, And Musi River

It's a good idea to visit the Benteng Kuto Besak by spending time until the evening. When BKB's operating hours are closed, the fun of tourism does not stop, it is even more crowded.

The atmosphere outside the Kuto Besak Fort in the afternoon into the evening is getting busier. The scenery around the area is very beautiful, combined with the twinkling night lights that will spoil the eyes of visitors.

This area is the best spot to enjoy the charm of the beauty of the Ampera Bridge and the Musi River in Palembang. As well as a cool photo background.

3. Belido Iwak Monument

There is a visitor's favorite selfie spot called Tugu Iwak Belido. A monument, or a giant fish statue, in the form of a fish typical of the Musi River which is starting to become rare.

Belido fish is famous as a very delicious fish, as well as a raw material for making Palembang's special culinary, namely Pempek.

5. Who should visit Benteng Kuto Besak?

Of course all of you. All of you who have read this blog article both in the Palembang city area and outside.

6. How to get to Benteng Kuto Besak?

After reading carefully, I'm sure you will be interested in visiting Benteng Kuto Besak. The road to BKB Palembang is quite easy to access. The distance from Palembang City Square is only 4 kilometers, with a travel time of 10-15 minutes via Jalan Veteran.

In addition, Kuto Besak Fort is very close to 16 Ilir Market. The access road to Kuto Besak Fort can be passed by two-wheeled vehicles, as well as four-wheeled vehicles.

Additional Information

Tourist facilities at Kuto Besak Fort if in the fort area there are museums, and other historical objects. But if outside BKB, there are many facilities that can be enjoyed by visitors. As:

1. Spacious parking area,

2. festival spots,

3. Comfortable seating,

4. culinary spots,

5. Floating restaurant

6. Market 16 Ilir.

Opening Hours Fort Kuto Besak is open every day. Kuto Besak Fort is open from 08.00 – 21.00. The area in front of the Kuto Besak Fort is open 24 hours. Entrance ticket for Kuto Besak Fort, or BKB Rp. 5,000 per person.

That's all the information I can provide. Hopefully it's useful and I'm sure you will be interested in visiting Kuto Besak Fort, right?. Of course, because the information and photos I provide make you interested in taking photos there too.

That's all from me, if there are criticisms and suggestions, you can type in the comments column or you can directly email me that has been listed. And share your experiences for those who have and want to visit Kuto Besak Fort. And that's it, Thank you and Peace ✌✌✌

Now, I will show you guys about the new face of Monpera Palembang. Maybe some of you don't know about what is the Monpera Palembang. So, a brief story about Monpera Palembang. Monpera building stands firmly on the edge of Jl Merdeka, right next to the Great Mosque. Characteristically there are six sturdy concrete cagak (pole) interlocked three-three on the left and right sides. Also emblazoned reliefs depicting the atmosphere of a five-day and five-night battle in the city of Palembang against the Dutch invaders.

Monpera

The laying of his First Stone and the laying of the building pole on August 17, 1975 and inaugurated on February 23, 1988 by The Minister of Finance Kesra Alamsyah Ratu Perwira Negara. Many fighters also died so that a monument was made next to Tenggkuruk road or Nusa Indah park. In memory of the heroes in the battle, a monument was formed, namely MONPERA.

Let's back to the point of this blog. While I show the new face of the palembang monpera, I will give you a little information about Monpera with the 5W +1H method.

1. What are the characteristics of Monpera Palembang building?

MONPERA Palembang has a characteristic shaped like a five-pronged jasmine flower. Jasmine as a symbol of the purity of the struggle of the people of Palembang against the invaders, with five petals symbolizing the 5-day and five-night war. This building stands as high as 17 meters, 8 floors and 45 lanes is symbolic of Indonesia's independence.

2. Where is Monpera Located ?

Monpera is located at Jl. Merdeka No.1, 19 Ilir, Bukit Kecil, Palembang City, South Sumatra. If you are in Palembang can go there using private vehicles or public transportation.

3. Why did the Monpera build?

MONPERA in Palembang was built to commemorate the movement of the people during the war for five days and five nights against the Dutch invaders. MONPERA is also functioned as a museum storing historical objects about the resistance of the people of Palembang.

4. Who should visit Monpera Palembang?

I believe that everyone should go to Monpera, not just Palembang residents, but also people from other parts of Indonesia and even other nations. History buffs in Indonesia, as well as those from other countries, should pay a visit to Monpera and learn firsthand about the history of battle in Palembang. Aside from that, it may provide visitors with information on Palembang's past. I believe that everyone should go to Monpera, not just Palembang residents, but also people from other parts of Indonesia and even other nations. History buffs in Indonesia, as well as those from other countries, should pay a visit to Monpera and learn firsthand about the history of battle in Palembang. Aside from that, it can provide visitors with the its history.

5. When is the greatest time to visit Monpera Palembang?

The greatest times to visit Monpera, in my opinion, are in the morning and evening. What is the reason for this? Because the air is still cool in the morning, tourists can exercise here. Monpera is also a great site to snap pictures at night because it is lit up with lights that elegantly embellish the town. I believe that the greatest time to visit Monpera is in the afternoon, especially during Ramadan. Because guests can take in the sights and sounds of Monpera while waiting for iftar.

The new face of Monpera Palembang is now increasingly visited by the public because it is considered interesting and suitable for taking selfies. The historical monument has now changed its appearance and has become an icon and pride of the people of Palembang. The new face of Monpera Palembang provides many new facilities such as playgrounds, photo spots, seating with small rivers and others. Not to forget there is still a museum in the large building monpera.

Family Recreation Park - About Facilities Kambang Iwak Park (Check This Out)

Yelllooo.... The People In The World!!! Welcome to my blog again...

Here I will tell you about the facilities in Kambang Iwak Park in Palembang. I went to Kambang Iwak Park with my friends. We go around on a leisurely walk while circling Kambang Iwak park. During our trip around Kambang Iwak, we saw a lot of seeing some facilities, snacks, communities, families and many others found in the Kambang Iwak park in the afternoon. Before I explained some of the facilities contained in the Kambang Iwak park, I will briefly explain about this Kambang Iwak park.

This is Me :)

Kambang Iwak Park or commonly also called KI Park is a city park located in Palembang, and is a favorite place for local residents to spend time with family, friends, or other communities. The presence of Kambang Iwak Park in the middle of Palembang City makes it a thirst reliever amid the boisterous and tired daily activities. So that this park is never empty of visitors even though corona is currently sweeping Indonesia.

Kambang Iwak Park is a public facility, so there is no specific time limit regarding its opening hours. The park is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Likewise with the park entrance ticket, we do not need to spend money to pay for the entrance ticket of Kambang Iwak Park.

Kambang Iwak comes from the local language which means Fish Pond, because indeed the lake in the middle of this park is also functioned as a fish pond. Many visitors come to visit Kambang Iwak Park to relax and enjoy the beauty of the park with the shade of the trees. Not only that, there are also many public facilities provided from the Kambang Iwak park. Here are some of the things I took, among others:

Bird World In The Bird Park Palembang

Yellooo... The People in the world!!! Welcome to My blog again. So, last week me and my girlfriend went to Palembang Bird Park. And we are very happy because there are so many new animals that we meet that we have never seen before.

The ticket price system at Palembang Bird Park is averaged for weekdays and holidays where visitors are charged an entrance ticket of IDR 50,000 per person. Meanwhile, children under the age of 2 years and seniors over 60 years are exempt from purchasing tickets.

The price also includes feed for certain animals. Visitors will be directed by officers about the procedure for exchanging tickets with animal feed when entering the park environment. Palembang Bird Park operates every day from 08:00 WIB to 18:00 WIB.

Before entering the park environment, visitors are required to comply with health protocols to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, such as wearing masks, hand sanitizers and measuring body temperature.

It's Me :)

The Palembang Bird Park is located in the OPI Mall Jakabaring Palembang area, not far from OPI Water Fun Jakabaring. This is a bird park where it provides more than 100 species of birds, such as parakeets, starlings, parrots, canaries, zebras, and other types. This tour is suitable as a family choice, especially for children.

Besides birds, there are also various other animals such as turtles, iguanas, rabbits, kate chickens, and guinea pigs, horses, and snakes. Visitors can also feed and for children can ride horses.

On this occasion, I will explain about 5 birds which are my favorite birds. So, Check this out!

1. Gold & Blue Macaw (Ara Ararauna)

The blue and gold macaw is a large parrot with aqua blue feathers on the back and yellow feathers covering the underside. The feathers on the top of the head are green. Blue and gold macaws are herbivores. They eat a variety of plants, fruits, berries, seeds and nuts.

Their large beaks allow them to crack seeds and nuts that are inaccessible to other birds. Its body length is between 76-86cm (30-34in) and its wingspan is 1.1m (3.6 ft). Their weight varies from 0.9-1.3kg (2-3lbs).

The blue and gold macaw is one of 17 species of macaws. The blue and gold macaw is a popular pet species worldwide.

This macaw bird is also a bird that is practically tame and practically follows the conditions in the environment with various situations. for macaw cages at least have a width of approximately 1.5 meters and a height of 2 meters. This is also the minimum cage size for a large macaw. The macaw cage can be equipped with a footing for the macaw from non-gummy logs.

To keep macaws, food should be considered. The type of feed for them is relatively easy. Because macaws like to eat fruits and seeds. But you should not give avocado or chocolate Cleanliness of food and drinks is also important for you to pay attention to in maintaining the health of this macaw bird.

2. African Grey Parrot (Psittacus erithacus)

As the name suggests, the African gray is a medium-sized parrot with a speckled gray color. It has a large black beak and a white mask that covers its yellow eyes, and has a striking red eyelet and tail. The female has a pale gray crown with dark gray edges, a gray body, and red tail feathers. Males look similar to females, but get darker with age. The size of this bird is about 33 cm (13.2 inches) and weighs about 400 grams (14 ounces).

There's a reason the African gray is often considered a poster bird for parrot intelligence because not only does it tend to accumulate a lot of vocabulary, it also exhibits a talent for recognizing the meaning of words and phrases. African gray parrots are more prone to vitamin-A/beta-carotene deficiency, and therefore benefit from eating vegetables high in beta-carotene, such as cooked sweet potatoes and fresh kale. Vitamin D deficiency is another problem, especially for gray hair with a poor diet.

For the most part, these birds are fruit eaters, meaning that most of their diet consists of fruit. Their main food sources are fruits, nuts, and seeds, but they are also known to eat tree bark, flowers, insects, and snails.

In human care, African gray parrots can be provided with a pelleted diet that is supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables. They are commonly fed sunflower seeds, pears, oranges, apples, carrots, pomegranates, bananas, cucumbers, peas, celery, and more. It is important to make sure they have a calcium source as well.

Stagnant birds can become overweight, so they should have plenty of time for play and exercise outside of their cages. This is also important for the bird's mental health, and poorly-stimulated birds can become sick, cause destruction, and become boosterous and loud.

3. Rhinoceros Hornbill (Buceros Rhinocerus)

The rhinoceros hornbill has black body, head, back, wings and breast. White abdomen and thighs. Tail is also white with wide black band across the middle.

This is a large bird with body length of 80-90 cm. Beak yellow and red at the base. Large casque of similar color on upper mandible, shaped like an upturned cylinder. Adult male can be identified from the black on its casque and red iris. Adult female has bluish white iris and casque lacking any black coloration.

Rhinoceros hornbills often forage on fruit trees, hunt small vertebrates and large arthropods (invertebrates with segmented bodies). Figs and other high-lipid fruits are favored items. In addition, these birds also eat lizards, tree frogs, bird eggs, spiders, and large insects including beetles and crickets.

4. Black Crow (Corvus Capensis)

The black crow have black-colored feathers, commonly with an iridescent shine to them. Some crowd species also have other colors, like white patches, on their feathers. They measure 40–53 cm (16–21 in) in length, of which the tail makes up about 40%. Crows also have relatively thick beaks, known as “bills". These seemingly mundane birds are actually incredibly smart and charismatic. Crows are some of the smartest birds in the world.

Crow are omnivores, which means that they will eat both plants and animals. They are scavengers as well as predators, and will eat virtually anything they can find. They will hunt small animals like rats and mice, smaller birds, reptiles, and eggs. They will also feed on carrion and hassle other animals away from their kills.

In zoos, crows are provided with plenty of flight space in their enclosures, with a variety of perches. They are also provided with environmental enrichment in the form of toys, puzzle feeders, and perch variation. Crows are extremely trainable, and because they are so intelligent it is advisable to do some type of training with them to keep them mentally stimulated. Their diet is extremely varied in the wild, so in zoos they are provided with a wide variety of foods.

5. Black Palm Cockatoo (Probosciger Aterrimus)

Black palm cockatoos are recognisable by the prominent crests and curved bills. Their plumage is generally less colourful than that of other parrots, being mainly white, grey or black and often with coloured features in the crest, cheeks or tail.

Black palm cockatoos are the largest of all parrots, ranging from 49 to 68 cm in height. They weigh 500 to 1100 g, with females ranging from 500 to 950 g and males ranging from 540 to 1100 g. Wing length is around 35.1 cm, tail length 23.8 cm, bill length 9.1 cm, and tarsus length averages 3.5 cm.

The black palm cockatoo  requires a large enough cage to accommodate flight and play. The cage should be at least 10 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 6 feet high. If you cannot accommodate a cage this size or an aviary, it is best to consider one of the smaller cockatoo species.

In the wild, black palm cockatoos often feed in the early morning hours. Its native diet is palm fruit, nuts from the kanari tree (Java almond), stringy eucalyptus tree bark, and tree seeds.

Those are some types of birds that I took at the Palembang bird park. Of all the types of birds found in the Palembang bird park, these 5 birds are my favorite birds because these birds have a special beauty that other birds don't have. However, of the 5 birds, my favorite is the black crow. Because these birds have characteristics and interesting facts. In your opinion, what bird is your favorite bird of the 5 types of birds that I have described. Write in the Comments belowπŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

3. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, salt, and flour and stir until everything is well combined.
4. Next add the coconut milk to the flour mixture and stir again until all the ingredients are well mixed.
5. Prepare a 22 cm tin (choose one that looks like a flower), then grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour so it doesn't stick.
6. Sieve the dough again so that there are no lumps. After that, pour the filtered dough into the pan.
7. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 55 minutes.
8. Kojo cake is ready to be served

6. Lupis Cake

Lupis is made from glutinous rice, the material is then cooked and wrapped in banana leaves. In serving, this cake is usually sprinkled with grated coconut and liquid brown sugar, so it has a distinctive taste. The price per unit itself is 1000 rupiah. I bought the lupis cake from a street vendor whose operating hours are from 7 to 9 in the morning

How to make Lupis cake:

1. First, soak the white sticky rice for about 20 to 30 minutes.
2. Then drain the sticky rice and steam for 30 minutes.
3. While waiting for the sticky rice to be steamed, prepare the banana leaves to wrap the sticky rice later. The trick is to shape the banana leaf into a long circle. You can also form a triangle if you want the lupis cake to be triangular, but here I made a round cake lupis because I'm used to making things like that.
4. Make a banana leaf roll of about four to five rolls. One liter of sticky rice can make four rolls of lupis, if one roll weighs 400 grams.
5. After steaming, put the sticky rice in a bowl and sprinkle with salt to taste, about two pinches.
6. Then stir the glutinous rice evenly using a wooden spoon.
7. After that, slowly insert the sticky rice into the banana leaf roll. Tidy by pressing, but not too dense.
8. Do this until the sticky rice runs out.
9. After that boil for four hours. During boiling, make sure the water is still full, don't let the water run out.
10. While boiling, you can prepare a splash of brown sugar which is very easy to make.
11. First prepare brown sugar or palm sugar according to taste. Then add water and boil until all the sugar is dissolved. If you want a thicker sprinkle of sugar, you can continue to boil it until it reaches the desired consistency.
12. After that also prepare grated coconut and steam it for 30 minutes to coat the lupis later.
13. After the coconut is steamed, don't forget to sprinkle salt to add to the taste of the lupis cake later.
14. After the lupis has been boiled for four hours, remove it and wait until it cools down before slicing it.
15. Once cool, unroll the banana leaves and cut the lupis according to taste.
16. Serve the lupis with coconut and brown sugar topping.
17. Lupis is ready to eat

7. Srikaya cake

Srikaya cake is a green cake with a pandan leaf scent with a very soft texture. This striking green cake is made using only sugar, eggs and thick coconut milk. This cake is easy to find in the markets in the Palembang area. I bought this in the 16 ulu market area which is sold at a price of 2000 per unit. For the operational hours of the Warung where I bought the sugar apple cake, it is from 6 am to 11 pm.
How to make Srikaya cake :
1. Soak the glutinous rice for 1 hour, then put Aron in a skillet with coconut milk, then steam it until it forms a soft 1/2 dr mold. Clean the steamer, prepare to steam the srikaya.
2. Make Pandan Coconut Milk by blending 6 chopped pandan leaves with 100 ml of water, strain, squeeze out the water, put it in the same measuring cup used for measuring eggs and sugar then add coconut milk and stir, if the water is still not the same as Egg dose can be added.
3. Mix eggs + coconut milk + sugar (if you don't want it to be too sweet, reduce sugar to taste) + milk, mix well, add a little salt, mix well.
4. Put the sticky rice into the steamer, adjust the distance, then pour the sugar apple mixture into the mold using a spoon, steam for 45 minutes, remove from heat.
